All of us at Vision Plus Bellevue sincerely hope you are staying healthy and safe during this challenging time. Please know the well being of our patients and staff is our top priority.
We are making some temporary, but significant, changes to our operation due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. We understand the impact this causes to our patients and deeply apologize for the inconvenience. However, in the current climate, we believe this is the best decision for the safety of our patients, staff and community.
To help reduce close person to person contact, our office is temporarily closed to the general public and our staff members are working remotely, as much as possible.
Based on recommendations by the CDC and the American Optometric Association, we are postponing all routine eye care at this time. If you had a routine eye exam or a non-urgent follow up scheduled during this closure, we will be contacting you individually to make arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience.
We realize you may have urgent issues related to your eyes during this time and want to let you know we are here to help.
A staff member will be available by phone (425-451-7798) Monday through Thursday between 10am and 5pm. If we are unable to pick up when you call, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. We are operating with reduced staffing during this time, so we kindly ask for your patience. You are also welcome to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this time, we are happy to help you process contact lens orders; and are currently providing complimentary shipping for all contact lens purchases. If you do not have a current contact lens prescription, we will do our best to work with you to find a temporary solution until we can see you for a routine exam to renew your prescription.
For our existing patients, we will be open limited hours, by appointment, for essential & urgent visits only. These include urgent visits for medical eye issues or essential visits related to replacement of necessary glasses. Please note, if you need to replace glasses you ordered from us previously, we can often complete this without an in person visit. We are currently offering complimentary shipping with new eyeglass orders.
However, we kindly ask that you postpone your visit if you, or someone you have had close contact with recently, are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 or are currently awaiting test results.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide 24 hour coverage, so if you experience an urgent after hours issue related to your eyes we recommend you seek care through your local urgent care or emergency department. For life threatening emergencies dial 911 immediately.
Thank you kindly for your patience and understanding. As this situation continues to change rapidly, we will post updates to our website with any new developments. Thank you for the opportunity to provide for your eye care needs. As a local small business, we are truly grateful for your support and wish you and your loved one’s good health and wellness.
